Fiber Reinforced Concrete - International Symposium
Also Known As:
The ACI SP-81:1984 standard, also known as the Fiber Reinforced Concrete - International Symposium, consists of nineteen papers divided into three parts. Part I focuses on the structural application and design of fiber reinforced concrete in structural elements. Part II discusses applications, materials, and techniques for evaluating fiber reinforced concrete. Part III includes committee reports on the state-of-the-art report on fiber reinforced concrete, measurement of properties of fiber reinforced concrete, and a guide for specifying, mixing, placing, and finishing steel fiber reinforced concrete.
The papers in this volume cover various topics related to fiber reinforced concrete. Some of the topics discussed include the shear and moment capacities of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams, the torsional behavior of reinforced fibrous concrete beams, and the behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete beam-column connections. Other topics include the resistance against impact load and the deformation characteristics of polymer and hybrid fiber reinforced concrete, design methods for pavements with special concretes, and the performance of polypropylene-reinforced cement sheeting elements.
