ACI SP-168:1997 is a compilation of 16 papers presented by ACI Committee 228. The papers discuss various advancements and experiences in the field of nondestructive testing of concrete. This volume was the result of two technical sessions organized by the committee, held during the ACI Spring Convention in 1993 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and the American Concrete Institute Fall Convention in 1995 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The volume also includes papers on the evaluation of deep foundations beneath buildings damaged during the 1994 Northridge earthquake and the evaluation of the integrity of large concrete structures using NDT.
