AS/NZS 1906.3:2017 PDF Download

AS/NZS 1906.3:2017 standard specifies the requirements for retroreflective and non-retroreflective raised pavement markers. These markers are intended for permanent and temporary delineation purposes and are bonded directly to or affixed directly to the pavement surface. The standard includes test methods provided in Appendices A to I.

It is important to note that this standard does not cover materials and devices that are installed above or to the side of the carriageway. Additionally, self-illuminating pavement markers are not addressed by this standard. Furthermore, the standard does not include markers specifically designed for use on snow-covered roads, but recommends referring to ASTM D4383 for such markers, which are sometimes known as "depressible markers" or "snow plowable markers."
