ASTM C941-16 is a standard test method that measures the water retentivity of grout mixtures for preplaced-aggregate concrete. It is used to determine the ability of a grout mixture to retain its mixing water. This test method is primarily used for qualifying grout fluidifiers that are used in the production of PA concrete. It can also be used to compare the effects of different admixtures or materials combinations on the water retentivity properties of any cement-water grout.
