BS EN 13707:2013 standard provides definitions and characteristics for flexible reinforced bitumen sheets that are specifically used for roofing purposes. The standard encompasses sheets used as top layers, intermediate layers, and underlayers in roofing applications. However, it does not cover reinforced bitumen sheets used as underlays for discontinuous roofing. Additionally, the standard excludes waterproofing sheets intended to be fully bonded under bituminous products applied at high temperatures, which are governed by EN 14695.
