PD CEN/TR 17079:2018 provides design regulations for fasteners used to connect statically indeterminate non-structural lightweight systems to concrete members. PD CEN/TR 17079:2018 is specifically applicable to non-structural applications in structures covered by EN 1992-1-1. However, modifications may be necessary for special considerations such as nuclear power plants or civil defense structures. The standard also provides specifications for the type, dimensions, and materials of the fasteners, as well as the loading conditions on the fastenings. It should be noted that fatigue, impact, and seismic loads are not covered by this standard.
