The DIN EN 13395-3 standard focuses on evaluating the workability of repair concrete for concrete structures. The standard acknowledges that normal workability concrete mixes, including proprietary formulations, are commonly used in repair projects and should be applied and compacted in line with conventional practices.
To assess the workability of these products, the standard recommends employing established methods such as slump, VeBe, or other appropriate techniques outlined in EN 206-1, which provides guidelines for assessing the workability of concrete mixes. However, for conventional high-flow concrete mixes, the workability assessment should be conducted according to the method specified in EN 12358.
