The DIN EN 13412 standard outlines two methods for determining the modulus of elasticity in compression for repair products and systems.
Method 1 of this standard is designed for products and systems that have high creep characteristics, typically those containing polymer binders (PC). This method provides guidelines for testing the modulus of elasticity in compression for such products and systems.
Method 2, on the other hand, is specific to products and systems with low creep characteristics, typically those containing polymer modified (PCC) and cementitious (CC) binders. This method provides a separate set of guidelines for determining the modulus of elasticity in compression for these types of products and systems.
