The DIN EN ISO 22477-5 standard provides specifications for the execution of tension tests on anchors grouted in the ground. The standard recognizes three methods of testing.
Test Method 1 involves cyclic tension loading with the measurement of displacement at the load stages. Test Method 2 involves cyclic tension loading with the measurement of load loss at the load stages. Test Method 3 involves step-loading with the measurement of displacement under successive maintained tension loads.
The standard specifies the requirements for the experimental devices, measurement apparatus, test procedures, definition and presentation of test results, and the content of records.
