The DIN EN 534 standard has undergone an amendment (Amendment 1) which includes editorial changes and revisions to the scope of the standard. The restructuring of the scope aims to better represent the actual content of the standard. Notably, attention should be given to the amendments and changes in level A within table D.1, specifically for Ultra-violet resistance sealant and structural sealant. The value "no value requested" has been replaced with "R equal/greater than 30%" for the Ratio (R) stress values after/before aging at rupture. Additionally, the change from "the outer seal is protected from direct exposure to UV (2)" to "the exposure to ultra-violet radiation of the outer seal is reduced (2)" implies a modification in the level of protection against UV radiation for the outer seal.
