The scope of this standard includes various types of interchangeable auxiliary equipment, such as pile installation and extraction equipment, impact hammers, extractors, vibrators, static pile pushing/pulling devices, rotary percussion hammers, rotary drilling drives, drill mast equipment (including leaders with a drill stem), and gears attached to the boom of an excavator, casing oscillators/rotators, among others.
It's important to note that the requirements set forth in this part are in addition to the general requirements specified in EN 16228-1.
