Luminaires - Part 2-3: Particular Requirements - Luminaires for Road and Street Lighting
Also Known As:
The IEC 60598-2-3:2002+A1:2011 standard specifies the requirements for luminaires used in road, street, and other public outdoor lighting applications. It also covers tunnel lighting and column-integrated luminaires with a minimum total height above normal ground level of 2.5 meters. The standard is applicable to luminaires designed to be used with electrical lighting sources on supply voltages not exceeding 1,000 V.
It should be noted that this standard is to be read in conjunction with IEC 60598-1:2008, which provides general requirements for luminaires. The consolidated version of the standard includes the third edition (2002) and amendment 1 (2011) for user convenience. This means that there is no need to order the amendment separately, as it is already included in this publication.
