Data Structures for Electronic Product Catalogues for Building Services - Part 1: Concepts, Architecture and Model
Also Known As:
ISO 16757-1:2015 is a standard that provides data structures for electronic product catalogues in the field of building services. Its main purpose is to facilitate the automatic transmission of building services product data into software applications for building services. This standard includes two meta models: one for specifying product classes and their properties, and another for the product data exchanged in product catalogues.
ISO 16757-1:2015 defines the underlying concepts of the standard and provides a generic model that specifies the available modelling elements and their relationships. Additionally, it establishes a framework for the specification of Content Parts. The Content Parts describe the elements that are required to be included in the product catalogues.
