The "General Practices for the Repair of Water-Leakage Cracks in Concrete Structures" standard, ISO/TR 16475:2020, is a guideline that outlines best practices for repairing water leakage through cracks in concrete structures. The document addresses several factors relevant to the quality control of maintenance and repair, including the conditions of water-leakage cracks, performance requirements for repair materials, different types of repair materials (grouts), procedures for selecting the appropriate repair materials, execution of different repair methods, performance assessments of applied materials and methods, and data collection.

However, it is important to note that this standard does not cover the repair of dry cracks or the causes of cracks. Detailed information on repairing dry cracks can be found in ISO 16311-4. The standard also includes a flow chart, depicted in Figure 1, which illustrates the maintenance process for water-leakage cracks.
