JIS R 5202:2010 is a standard that specifies the methods for the chemical analysis of cement using wet chemistry. This standard can also be applied to the analysis of clinkers and blast-furnace slag used in the manufacture of blast-furnace slag cement.
It should be noted that there is an international standard that corresponds to JIS R 5202:2010, which is ISO 29581:2009. This international standard also focuses on the analysis of cement using wet chemistry.
For the purpose of this standard, "cement" refers to various types of cement specified in JIS R 5210 (portland cement), JIS R 5211 (portland blast-furnace slag cement), JIS R 5212 (portland pozzolan cement), JIS R 5213 (portland fly-ash cement), and JIS R 5214 (ecocement).
