Standard EN SampleRecycled Aggregate for Concrete - Class H
Also Known As:
JIS A 5021:2011 standard sets out the specifications for recycled aggregate H. This type of aggregate is produced through a high-level treatment process, such as crushing, grinding, and classification, applied to concrete lumps resulting from activities like demolishing buildings. It should be noted that concrete lumps can also be generated from hardened concrete returned from concrete products and ready-mixed concrete.
This standard defines the requirements for the physical and mechanical properties of recycled aggregate H, including its particle size distribution, apparent density, and water absorption. It also establishes the limitations for impurities and specifies the testing methods to be used for evaluating the conformity of the recycled aggregate H with the standard.
