Standard EN SampleSteel Bars for Concrete Reinforcement
Also Known As:
JIS G 3112:2010 is a standard that specifies the requirements for round and deformed steel bars used for concrete reinforcement. These steel bars are produced through hot rolling. It is important to note that this standard does not cover rerolled steel bars for concrete reinforcement as specified in JIS G 3117.
In addition, this standard provides information on the international standards that correspond to JIS G 3112:2010, along with the symbol of degree of correspondence. Two such international standards are ISO 6935-1:2007, which deals with plain bars for reinforcement of concrete, and ISO 6935-2:2007, which covers ribbed bars for reinforcement of concrete. It should be noted that the overall evaluation of ISO 6935-2:2007 with respect to JIS G 3112:2010 is modified.
Lastly, it is worth mentioning that this standard also includes steel bars in coil form.
