Standard EN SampleProducts and Systems for the Protection and Repair of Concrete Structures: Definitions, Requirements, Quality Control, and Evaluation of Conformity. Concrete Injection
Also Known As:
BS EN 1504-5:2013 is a European standard that sets out requirements for the identification, performance, and safety of injection products used for the repair and protection of concrete structures. This standard covers three categories of injection products: force transmitting filling (category F), ductile filling (category D), and swelling fitted filling (category S). The performance requirements outlined in this standard are not applicable to highly specialized applications in extreme environmental conditions or specific circumstances such as accidental impact or earthquake loading, which have their own specific performance requirements. This standard does not cover the treatment of cracks with elastomeric sealing compounds, external filling of cavities, or preliminary injection works for temporary water passage stoppage during waterproofing injection.
