The DIN EN ISO 20500-5 standard focuses on the safety requirements for paver-finishers used in road construction. Working in conjunction with part 1 of ISO 20500, this standard addresses all significant hazards associated with paver-finishers when used as intended or in reasonably foreseeable cases of misuse throughout the machine's lifetime.
Although this standard does not duplicate the requirements outlined in ISO 20500-1, it serves as a supplement by either adding or replacing specific requirements that are applicable to paver-finishers.
