Execution of Special Geotechnical Work - Grouting - Grouting
Also Known As:
The DIN EN 12715 standard focuses on the execution, testing, and monitoring of geotechnical grouting work. It specifically deals with grouting for geotechnical purposes, which involves the placement of a pumpable material in the ground while controlling its rheological characteristics and placement parameters such as pressure, volume, and flow rate.
The standard covers two main types of geotechnical grouting: displacement grouting, which includes compaction and compensation grouting, and grouting without displacement of the host material, such as permeation, fissure/rock grouting, and bulk filling. It should be noted that specialized grouting activities associated with structural and emergency works are not included in this standard. Additionally, jet grouting work is not covered by this document.
