Geotechnical Investigation and Testing - Testing of Geotechnical Structures - Part 5: Testing of Grouted Anchors
Also Known As:
ISO 22477-5:2018 standard establishes specifications for conducting tension tests on anchors grouted in the ground. The standard recognizes three methods of testing. Test Method 1 involves cyclic tension loading with measurement of displacement at load stages, Test Method 2 involves cyclic tension loading with measurement of load loss at load stages, and Test Method 3 involves step-loading with measurement of displacement under successive maintained tension loads.
The standard provides specifications for the experimental devices, measurement apparatus, test procedures, definition and presentation of test results, and the content of records. However, it should be noted that the standard does not provide specifications for the size of the proof load and the limiting criteria. These aspects are covered in EN 1997-1 or its national annex for CEN countries, and similar national application documents for this test standard for ISO countries.
