AASHTO MP 30M/MP 30-17 is a standard specification for steel wire and welded wire used for reinforcing concrete. It applies to carbon-steel wire and welded wire reinforcement that is produced from hot-rolled rods. The steel wire can be plain (non-deformed or galvanized), deformed, or cold-worked. Welded wire reinforcement can be made from plain or deformed wire, or a combination of both.
