The ICAO Standard ICAO 9981:2015 is a comprehensive set of guidelines and procedures for the design and operation of aerodromes. It serves as a supplement to Annex 14 - Aerodromes, Volume I - Aerodrome Design and Operations. The standard was developed by the PANS-Aerodromes Study Group (PASG) with the aim of ensuring the consistent and harmonized application of aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs).
