The JIS C 8105-2-3:2011 standard describes the requirements for luminaires used in road, street, and other public outdoor lighting applications. It also includes specifications for tunnel lighting and column-integrated luminaires with a minimum height above the ground level of 2.5 m (luminaires with a total height of 2.5 m or lower are currently being considered).
This standard applies to luminaires that are designed for use with electrical lighting sources, such as incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, discharge lamps, and LED devices. The maximum supply voltage for these luminaires should not exceed 1,000 V.
It's important to note that the IEC 60598-2-3:2002 international standard corresponds to the JIS C 8105-2-3:2011 standard, and it has a specified degree of correspondence.
