Bituminous mixtures - Material specifications - Part 21: Factory Production Control

The DIN EN 13108-21 standard outlines the quality and Factory Production Control requirements for the manufacture of bituminous mixtures used in road construction, airfields, and other traffic areas. However, it does not cover additional testing conducted within specific contracts.
The Factory Production Control specified in this standard is to be applied to European Standards for bituminous mixtures if CE marking under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) is required. In cases where CE marking is not applicable, the Factory Production Control can still be used as part of quality control procedures.
This standard is applicable when the constituents and target composition of the bituminous mixture are known and have been proven to comply with the specified compositional, performance-related, or performance-based requirements outlined in prEN 13108-1 to -7 and 9.
