Road Marking Materials - Preformed Road Markings
Also Known As:
The DIN EN 1790 standard pertains to the specification of construction products used for road markings in circulation areas. The standard covers white and yellow, removable or non-removable, preformed road marking materials in various forms such as tape, cold plastic, and thermoplastics with or without drop-on materials.
This standard focuses on permanent and/or temporary road markings and does not cover other products or colors intended for road markings. It also provides specifications for the evaluation of conformity, including type testing and factory production control, for the mentioned preformed road marking materials.
Additionally, the standard includes an Annex ZA that addresses the provisions of the EU Construction Product Directive for permanent road markings. This ensures that the materials meet the necessary requirements for quality and safety.
