Road Marking Materials - Preformed Road Markings
Also Known As:
The DIN EN 1790 standard specifies the requirements for construction products that are used for permanent and/or temporary road markings in circulation areas. These products include white and yellow preformed road marking materials in the form of tape, cold plastic, and thermoplastics with or without drop-on materials.
The standard covers the evaluation of conformity for these road marking materials, including type testing and factory production control. It does not include other products and colors intended for road markings.
Additionally, the standard includes an Annex ZA that addresses the provisions of the EU Construction Product Directive for permanent road markings. This ensures that the specified materials comply with the relevant European regulations.
